PhotoForge ($2.99 – review here ), the little Photoshop-like app that can, has been updated to support iOS 4 fast app switching for the second time . Apparently, there was something about the last update that didn’t quite stick, or was submitted wrong, and they’re here to fix things up. I loaded the app up and can confirm that fast app switching works as it should, although I can’t comment too much on the other changes. I do most of my photo editing from within Camera+ or on my Mac now. I can’t help but be hopeful about this update being called v1.95, though.

BlackBerry Help is says you can download BlackBerry Messenger 5.0.1.38 via the following link: http://www.blackberry.com/select/bbm/download.shtml It looks like Research in Motion has decided that all BlackBerry users trying to download BlackBerry Messenger 5.0.1.38 simultaneously was not such a great idea after all and has temporarily pulled the update to arguably the best mobile IM client of all time.  Either this was the case, or, BBM was prematurely released.    Rumor has it that 5.0.1.38 will return, later this week, via BlackBerry App World. Orange Launches Mobile Volunteering Project

Adam over at CrackBerry.com did a comparison video of boot times between the BlackBerry Bold 9700, BlackBerry Bold 9650, and the new BlackBerry Torch 9800 running BlackBerry 6. I am not really stunned by how fast the Torch boots compared to the latest BlackBerry Bold model
