Garmin’s new simpler GPS watch for running is the Garmin Forerunner 210 which is going to cost $300. Compared to the Garmin Forerunner 410 we just mentioned 210 lacks the ANT+ wireless technology for syncing to your computer and does not have the fancy bezel. However it is smaller and lighter and has an extra week of standby time. You’ve still got the high-sensitivity GPS receiver with Garmin’s HotFix technology, and the ability to set up heart rate alerts to notify you when you are above or below your targets. When you’re in training mode the battery should get you about 8 hours, and by then you really should be done with your first marathon

It looks like the Samsung Omnia 7 is, indeed, the same device as the i8700 (appeared on the Web more than once until now). The smartphone stars in a newly-leaked video, which shows its Windows Phone 7 UI (in Italian) and the Omnia 7 label at some point. It looks like Samsung, like HTC , is adding some sort of customization to its Windows Phone 7 devices – some kind of hub for showing news, weather and other info.
