HTC Google Nexus One

HTC Google Nexus One Review Google takes two steps further – Nexus One much better than G1 and G2 By Cosmin Vasile , Communications News Editor From the plethora of Android devices that have been lurking around the market lately, only a few seemed to appeal to fans of the operating system. Even though Google’s name should pretty much make sure that a device is sold in large quantities, I believe that the main attraction of Nexus One is the latest Android 2.1 OS. Since Google launched its first G1 smartphone, back in 2008, there were lots of rumors about a second device, much better in terms or performance and looks. Working with mobile phone manufacturer HTC had its rewards, but also its downsides. The Taiwanese company also develops its own Android-based smartphones, which strongly rival those of Google.

Facebook Will Allow Users to Share Location

Facebook Will Allow Users to Share Location By NICK BILTON Starting next month, the more than 400 million Facebook users could begin seeing a new kind of status update flow through their news feed: the current locations of their friends. Facebook plans to take the wraps off a new location-based feature in late April at f8 , the company’s yearly developer conference, according to several people briefed on the project, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss unannounced services. In preparation for the introduction, Facebook updated its privacy policy last November. The new policy states: “When you share your location with others or add a location to something you post, we treat that like any other content you post.” At that time, the company also offered some foreshadowing of the new feature: “If we offer a service that supports this type of location sharing we will present you with an opt-in choice of whether you want to participate.” Facebook has been working on a location-based tool for close to a year, but decided to wait until the product was completely ready for mainstream adoption before announcing it, said the people with knowledge of the project. Meredith Chin, a Facebook spokeswoman, said Tuesday that the company wasn’t ready to discuss any possible location-based features.

Win a SPOT Satellite Messenger Emergency Tracker GPS

I tweeted this earlier today , and wanted to post a link to the page too. If you enjoy the back country, you should consider a SPOT Tracking GPS. The SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger allows you to send an SOS message to authorities, a personal message to friends, or an “I/’m OK” message through a satellite system not through a cellular system

RIM, iPhone & Android market share up

Gartner has released a comprehensive report on the list of smartphone platforms sale of mobile phones worldwide. In its reports, gartner has enlisted the iPhone at number three, right behind Nokia’s Symbian OS and the RIM software used in Blackberry devices. More importantly, the report reveals that Apple’s unit share has more than doubled in the last year, from 11.4 million units in 2008 to more than 24 million in 2009. Gartner claims iPhone sales made up 14 percent of the smartphone market last year to WinMo’s 9 percent, but that still puts Apple behind the other two leaders in the market: BlackBerry manufacturer RIM in third place with 20 percent, Finnish firm Nokia still ahead with a mighty 47 percent

Microsoft Windows Phone Series 7 will not run previous windows mobile apps.

Whilst many may see this as a negative outcome from Microsoft , this is, in my opinion, a good thing. Microsoft had to restart their foray into mobile and what they have uncovered so far at the Mobile World Congress looks to be that they are eager to get back in the game. The new look and feel of Windows Phone Series 7 is a dramatic difference to the old tired Windows mobile operating system. Microsoft’s new mobile operating system is far improved from anything that they could have progressed further within the old operating system. The new interface is based on their Zune media player devices and is a massive step in the right direction for a much improved user experience

Skin your phone!

Ok you don’t actually skin the phone – you give it a skin. Instead of putting your phone in a bulky leather case that makes the sleek device you bought look like a monster, you could try giving it a skin and making it truly personal. I’m already on the way to buy one for my Nokia n900 but they also support a myriad of other devices including the Nexus One and Apple iPhone.

Mass Effect 2 Has Robbed Me of Sleep

I suggest you jump straight into Mass Effect 2, even if you haven’t played or finished the first game. Like its predecessor, Mass Effect 2 plays like a movie, where you are its star attraction, the best hope of the galaxy, and a fearless leader all in one. From the opening portion you will find yourself taking your time enjoying the scenery. Mass Effect 2’s world is a very-detailed and realistic one, even on a computer with relatively weak 9500 GT graphics (at 1152 x 864). The high-production values also extend to the music and sound effects, creating a compelling world that you’re happy to be a part of.

Remotely Access Your PC

What is “remotely accessing your pc”? Well, it means taking control of your PC from another device like a laptop, another desktop, or your mobile phone. Why would you want to this? Well, for a number of reasons. You might like to have access your PC while you’re away, or you might want someone to see your desktop in real time like if they’re troubleshooting your PC

The easy way to Edit & Add Symbols to Fonts

Here is a tutorial to guide you how to edit Fonts to be used on mobile and add the symbols/logos in Fonts by FontCreator. Has many ways to do this, but this tutorial will bring an easiest way. It didn’t use this way to edit font, because must have to edit so many characters for many people (many languages such as Vietnamese, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, etc ….) could use it. Of course this’ll take many time
