Reuters: Hulu plans to expand to iPad, Xbox 360, offer subscription service

We’ve already heard rumors of Hulu coming to the iPad and Xbox 360 , and rumors of a subscription service , and it looks like those might now all be coming together. According to Reuters , two sources and “another with knowledge of the matter” say that Hulu will be rolling out to “multiple devices” in the next month or two — only the iPad and Xbox 360 are mentioned by name — and that it will indeed be offering a subscription service. As we had heard, the subscription service would apparently only be for older episodes of TV shows and other content — you’d still be able to watch new episodes of shows for free — and it sounds like it will apply to Hulu as a whole, not just those aforementioned devices. Not many more details than that, unfortunately, but this does certainly seem to be taking on a feeling of inevitability. Motorola i296 Now Avaialble on Boost Mobile

Boost Mobile may like to get everyone’s attention for some device launches, but apparently they’re also perfectly complacent with slipping some onto their network under a hushed breath. The Motorola i296 has apparently been available for a couple of days now, and considering the specs and features, we can see why Boost wouldn’t necessarily go out of its way to announce its arrival. The i296 is a standard candy-bar styled phone

RIM BlackBerry 9670 Gets Caught on Video, OS 6 Along for the Ride [Video]

It was only just a few years ago that, with photos or video of a new, officially unannounced product hitting the Internet, the whole world seemed to go abuzz. Now though, it just feels like it’s second nature, and expected. Take for example the BlackBerry 9670 , the clamshell handset from Research In Motion that hasn’t been officially announced by any means, but that’s shown up so much on the Internet , it might as well be a fully released handset. The BlackBerry 9670 follows in the lineage of the BlackBerry Pearl Flip, as it’s designed like a flip-phone, but still packs in all the traditional BlackBerry features. You’ll find a full QWERTY keyboard, and a screen that’s just big enough to get the job done.

Sony Casts ‘Rewrite History’ To Explain the PSPGo Flop

Way back in the fall of 2009 Sony introduced the PSP Go. Before releasing the system, they touted the all-digital system based on the appealing physical form, the removal of the slow & noisy UMD drive, the ease of using the PSN store, and the new PSP Mini games. With the rumored UMD-to-PSN trade-in system, the system looked appealing despite being much more expensive than the PSP-3000.

The automata of Thomas Kuntz

Check out the excellent work by artist Thomas Kuntz , a sculptor who specializes in ornate, macabre automata. The alchemical process begins with the exquisite clay sculpture that is transformed into a shell. This body houses gears, chains, shafts, cams, levers, cylinders and valves. Many materials are used including carefully machined brass, steel, wood and composites treated as they would have been in centuries past by the classic clockwork makers

lego mindstorms walking robot legs: what’s next, a lego terminator?

I’m always amazed at what some people can do with LEGO building blocks. This is definitely impressive. It’s a LEGO Mindstorms robot that can walk like a human. The robot is called Pinocchio and the aim of the project is to kinematically imitate a human walking. Click to View Embedded Video Clip I know for a fact that walking like a human is really hard to emulate for robots, which is why this LEGO ‘bot is doubly impressive
