We all know that the Acer Liquid e is coming to Canada by way of Rogers , but as far as its pricing was concerned, we were pretty much left in the dark when its announcement was made back in February. Mobilesyrup however has got some good friends over on the East Coast who have graciously shared this screenshot showcasing the price of the upcoming Acer Android phone. $374.99 is the supposed contract-free price of the Acer Liquid e which actually isn’t that bad.

So I get a lot of questions about iPhone 4.0 and whether it’s now “enterprise ready”. Hard to tell at the moment, although Apple seems to definitely go towards the right direction. Already available in Europe, the Samsung B7330 Omnia Pro will be launched in Canada, too, under a different name: Samsung Messenger. The Messenger B7330 should be available via all three major Canadian carriers: Bell (apparently starting today, April 28), Rogers (May 4) and Telus (sometime later this year). Running Windows Mobile 6.5, the Samsung Messenger B7330 features a full QWERTY keypad , 2.6 inch display with 320 x 320 pixels, HSDPA, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, stereo FM radio, 3.2MP autofocus camera, and MicroSD card support (up to 32GB). Internet traffic monitoring firm CR-Nielsen has released its February 2010 report on the Chinese online display advertising market. According to the report, the Chinese online display ad market was worth RMB 1.13 bln in February, up 63.4% year-on-year. Apparel overtook automobiles to become the top online advertising industry while automobiles and retail ranked second and third, with spending dropping in the latter two by 44.5% and 28.4% from January, respectively

Whilst many may see this as a negative outcome from Microsoft , this is, in my opinion, a good thing. Microsoft had to restart their foray into mobile and what they have uncovered so far at the Mobile World Congress looks to be that they are eager to get back in the game. The new look and feel of Windows Phone Series 7 is a dramatic difference to the old tired Windows mobile operating system. Microsoft’s new mobile operating system is far improved from anything that they could have progressed further within the old operating system. The new interface is based on their Zune media player devices and is a massive step in the right direction for a much improved user experience
