So Microsoft went all official with Windows Phone 7 at their launch event yesterday, and one of the big things with Windows Phone 7 is of course Xbox Live for Windows Phone 7, something that will no doubt places Microsoft in a better position than most mobile game platforms. Word is that Microsoft has a nice strong line-up of mobile games for the launch of Windows Phone 7 which includes the likes of Need for Speed, The Sims 3, The Harvest and Rocket Riot, and the guys over at Engadget have done the deed and come up with a few video previews of the games and the Xbox Live Hub

We just spent some serious, and we mean serious time with Xbox Live for Windows Phone 7 . Just like your Xbox, this is sort of an amalgamation of “the place you go to play games” and “the place you go to ping and taunt your friends who also play games.” Unfortunately, it seems there’s a bit of a disconnect between phone-based scores and records and Xbox achievements — they all add up to the same gamerscore, but you can’t easily pull up your most recent Halo exploits to show off on your mobile, for instance.

Mobile security firm NetQin has apparently found a malware spreading via Symbian S60 handsets that is being used to build a mobile botnet. The company has identified three piece of malware masquerading as mobile games or special offers, infecting Symbian S60 3rd and 5th edition devices.
