The Apple iPhone 4 is due to go on sale in the UK on the 24th of June 2010, and UK buyers will be able to pre-order the iPhone 4 from next Tuesday the 15th of June 2010. The iPhone 4 will be available on four mobile networks in the UK, O2, Orange, Vodafone and T-Mobile. None of these four providers of the iPhone 4 UK have released any details on pricing or contracts as yet. With the iPhone 4 being available on four UK networks this should promote some healthy competition between them, which is good news for buyers of the iPhone 4 in the UK.

Vodafone India has just confirmed that it will bring iPhone 4 to India by this September. “Vodafone Essar will launch iPhone 4, the thinnest smartphone in the world, in India in the coming months,” the company said. Yesterday Apple [AAPL] released iOS 4 GM (previously iPhone OS 4.0) to developers, now it seems that one developer has created a jailbreak for iOS4 for the iPhone 3GS. You can see it in action in the video below, this isn’t a release from the iPhone Dev Team, who usually provide easy tools to jailbreak your iPhone, we can expect something from them as soon as iOS 4 is released. You can find out more details about the jailbreak for iOS 4 GM here , although it may be better to wait a few days until the iPhone Dev Team release their Jailbreak for iOS 4.

msft.guy has discovered another method to jailbreak iPhone 3G and 3GS running on iOS 4.0 using PwnageTool. Redmondpie.com has shared the instructions posted by msft.guy who posted PwnageTool bundles for iPhone 3GS, iOS 4 GM release which enables jailbreak iPhone 3GS, while preserving baseband so that one can unlock using ultrasn0w or blacksn0w. 3GS GM bundle.. Don’t forget to update Cydia or add OpenSSH and OpenSSL Since I haven’t tried this bundle yet, I cant really comment on how well it works.
