Earmuff Headphones Keep You Warm & Stylish in the Winter

Winter might be the furthest thing from your mind, but when the cold weather does eventually come back – you’ll want to be prepared. These Earmuff Headphones look like a pair of furry and very cozy earmuffs, and that is exactly what they are. However, they also double as a pair of over the ear headphones. Granted, they’re not made of the real kind of fur that might classify them as luxury headphones, but in our books, that is a good thing. The Earmuff headphones are available in black or gray and retail for $38.99.

First Data and Tyfone Plan To Take Mobile Payment Mainstream

[image courtesy of Ronnie05 ] The true promise of mobile payments has yet to really take off here in the U.S.   The ability to not only check your balance and manager your accounts, but actually use your mobile to directly pay for goods and services is something many of us are still waiting to see become a reality.  First Data and Tyfone may have the solution that breaks that barrier and brings mobile payments mainstream. Where other solutions rely on a separate NFC or Near Field Communications chip being built in or included in the actual handset, First Data and Tyfone have come together to innovate mobile payments using something almost every phone likely uses today — a micro SD card.   Think about it, we store music on an SD card.  We save our pictures on such a card.   Why not build in the technology to use your mobile as a true wallet using that very same SD card? … [ visit site to read more ] Copyright

Nokia X2 Review

With all the attention focussed on the Nokia N8 announced this week, Nokia sneaked out another new handset, the Nokia X2. The X2 doesn’t come anywhere near the N8 in terms of features, but what it does show is that Nokia are in a position to release what would have been a strong mid range device just a while ago as a bargain budget handset, with a price to match.

BlackBerry Pearl 3G Review

When the original BlackBerry Pearl was announced back in 2006, it caused quite a stir. Until that point, BlackBerry handsets were rather large, and chunky, and very wide. But then came the Pearl, and suddenly Blackberry handsets were almost the size of a normal mobile device. The size issue with Blackberry handsets was caused by the inclusion of full QWERTY keyboards, and whilst handsets these days with full QWERTY are a much more manageable size, something like the Pearl still has a place in the pocket of some mobile users.

7 Days with the Nokia X3

Introduction Competition in the mobile industry is fierce, and there are a number of manufacturers who are chasing hard the number one position that has been held for so long by Nokia. Not one to rest on their laurels, Nokia are slowly re-aligning their handset line up, including a new naming culture for their devices which should make it easier for consumers to know more about the phone before they purchase. Handsets will be designated by a single letter which will indicate the market focus of the device, whilst the number of the phone will show the level of technical specification. The existing N Series and E Series device names will be retained, and these will be joined by C Series and X Series. Two handsets have been released by Nokia in the X Series range so far, the X6 and X3 and we’ve had an X3 in the office over the last couple of weeks to review.

Samsung Monte Lands in India

Samsung Monte Lands in India This isn’t the first time the Samsung Monte (S5620) has graced these pages, and we’ve got to admit: we’re glad to see it back. Perhaps not so much to announce that it’s heading all the way over to India, but if it’s going anywhere, that’s not a bad place at all. Especially not when you consider how cheap the device is going to be, compared with the nice set of features the handset offers. We’re sure that some folks in that neck of the woods may wish to see something a bit different , but we promise, this isn’t a bad phone at all. But it’s more than obvious that Samsung’s not stopping their touchscreen phone onslaught any time soon
