Mini USB 3D Monitor Made Early Appearance in Hong Kong Electronics Show
Are you ready for 3D on your PC? The 3D craze hasn’t quite taken off yet as 3D systems have no champion and no standard, but that could change at any minute. The fetal technology is bound to get people excited as soon as a decent movie is able to take advantage of it and bring it home. So far, there’s only a handful of decent 3D gadgets (i.e. camera and camcorder ), but companies continue to test the water with releases more and more often.
Anyone that watches anime can tell you that it can be about anything, and when I say anything, I really mean it. Just to show you what I mean, I have compiled a list of 10 anime that I’m sure no one (or at least very few people) would have thought of unless they were drunk or high

Wi-Fi Sync is an iPhone app that we are absolutely hoping and praying makes it into the App Store. Why? Well, take a look at the video above. Basically, it solves a problem that we’ve been begging Apple to solve for years now—we want to be able to sync our devices with our computers over the network, rather than having to be tethered to a USB connection just to get our latest tunes and apps onto our phones and iPads
Nexus One not coming to Verizon, Droid Incredible takes its place
If you’re a Verizon Wireless customer that was waiting on the Nexus One ‘s arrival before upgrading, looks like you’ll have to make a slight change of plans. Google has just made it known that, despite announcing that the Nexus One would hit Verizon soon, it is now dead. Instead, they recommend that you go with the Droid Incredible instead. At first glance, that may come across as lame, but the fact is that the Droid Incredible is a better phone than the Nexus One, so we have to give kudos to Google for recognizing the work that was put into the phone by HTC. We will have more on the Droid Incredible later today, as we are currently playing around with one in the Gear Live Review Labs.
BlackBerry is finally looking to bring something even better to their consumer handset line than the BlackBerry Pearl (which has been around for over three years now,) and the BlackBerry Pearl 3G looks to be a worthy follow-up. This will be the first BlackBerry, Pearl or otherwise, to sport 802.11n Wi-Fi, and it will also boast a 3.2 megapixel camera, 256MB storage (with microSD expansion up to 32GB,) GPS, and a 360 x 400 display. Even more interesting is that, aside from the multiple colors you can choose from, you also get to choose between two difference keyboard layouts.
Engadget posted a video today about a robotic arm which looks and acts like an elephant trunk. Made by Festo’s it’s an impressive robotic machine. It appears much bigger than it is, watch the video and you’ll see the arm hand something off to a human. It really has nothing to do with USB , but just a great video to watch. After watching it, I do wonder how quickly it can move. Powered By: 2010 USB Powered Gadgets and more.. .
Samsung STORY Station 3.0 External Drive Receives USB 3.0 Treatment
Samsung is the third hard drive manufacturer to jump onto the USB 3.0 bandwagon, following Seagate and Western Digital . The new STORY Station 3.0 is a follow-up to the last year’s minimalist 3.5″ external drive. The two shares the exact same distinct brushed aluminum chassis with the front of the drive sporting an old-school power knob that is nothing more than a switch. The same jog dial controls the LED brightness level which seems somewhat unnecessary.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 4-way SLI exemplifies law of diminishing returns
What’s better than three monstrous GeForce GTX 480 graphics cards in a 3-way SLI configuration? How about four… is what we’d like to say, if Hardware.info hadn’t just discovered that said setup is a huge waste of cash. With a full four GTX 480 cards buckled into an X58 Classified 4-Way SLI motherboard plus a Core i7-980X processor and a massive 1.5 kilowatt power supply to squeeze the juice, the €4,064 ($5,440) box still lost to a similarly configured 3-way rig in a wide variety of benchmarks
Google’s Android Tablet Most Likely Be Made by HTC
Recently The New York Times reported that Google CEO Eric Schmidt confirmed the rumors that the company’s tablet will run Android OS. It would be worth noting that unlike Apple’s iPhone operating system and Palm’s WebOS, Android is an open source. The Silicon Valley tech giant has also been developing another operating system that would be installed on low-powered netbooks and tablets – Chrome OS , which represents a browser-based operating system that Google mentioned in November. It is likely that the two operating systems from Google might confuse some consumers. The new tablet that will run Android is expected to be manufactured by HTC , a Taiwanese company that a while ago launched together with Google the Nexus One smartphone and is considered to be Google’s most trustworthy Android partner.
