Some ads drive me completely nuts, but I think this one for Ford is quite clever. It displays 15 common knots, but instead of using rope it uses various bits of iPhone cabling, including the headphones, dock and USB connectors. Are you a lucky person who has never had a pair of headphones tie themselves up in knots?

Bulky mobile phones are not my cup of tea. I prefer light and easy to carry widgets and this is the reason that I almost jumped with excitement when my brother gifted me a brand new LG GD510 on my last birthday. This handset weighs merely 87 grams and I can easily carry it to my college. However, compactness is not the only characteristic that has made me fall in love with it.

In what comes as no surprise to many of us, Apple made it official today announcing to thr press that it will be unveiling its newest offering live on January 27th in San Francisco. It is not yet clear that what Apple has in mind for the event .Whether the device will be a tablet, a new iPhone, new iPod Touch or something completely different remains to be seen, and Apple’s still being very tight lipped about it. According to report on Wall Street Journal that device will come with 10 or 11 inch touch screen with wireless access and the price tag may range up to $1,000. The other rumors are still in the air that device would 22 inch wide. The announcement about the January 27th event came in the form of an e-mail to journalists.

This morning we got word that Verizon was bolstering their FiOS packages, with the big news (from where we sit) being that the company is now offering a new symmetrical 35/35 Mbps Internet package as part of their “Best” bundle, which also brings an expansion of offerings in their FiOS TV HD package. For those who just want the blazing Internet goodness without the HD, they are also offering a 25/25 Mbps service, and they still offer the 50/20 Mbps service as well, which is a bit odd
