Outsourcing Potential 2010 – How Does It Look Like? (Part 2)
Another pronounced trend of the coming year shows up in the shifting global markets. The survey by the global consultancy PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Duke University’s Offshoring Research Network stated that the outsourcing industry is transforming due to the emergence of new providers around the world and efforts of existing outsourcers to expand into new markets. “Outsourcing companies in North America and India, which have long dominated the industry, are being challenged by competition from Latin America, Eastern Europe and Asia in service areas such as contact centers, business process outsourcing, and information technology outsourcing,” the survey revealed. Is the Apple iPad "magical"?
Today was 2010′s first iDay- the announcement of a new or updated Apple product, predictably following months, or in this case years of feverish speculation. Steve Jobs gave the gathered press the first glimpse of the super-tablet himself, proudly declaring the new iPad not just revolutionary, but magical . It is undeniably sleek, beautiful, and impressive to look at but is it necessary, especially for people already toting around iPhones or iPod Touches, along with a MacBook or a MacBook Air? Here are the specs: -9.7″ LED backlit, fully multi-touch display, with IPS technology (IPS provides wide viewing angles and good color reproduction, important for a tablet that you may use both laptop-style, and as a media player). There’s also a special fingerprint-resistant coating, obviously good for a screen with a touch interface.

The Apple iPad: starting at $499
After nearly a decade of rumors and speculation, Apple’s finally unveiled the iPad. It’s a half-inch thick and weighs just 1.5 pounds, with a 9.7-inch capacitive touchscreen IPS LCD display, and it’s running a custom 1GHz Apple “A4″ chip developed by the P.A. Semi team, with a 10-hour battery life and a month of standby. It’ll come in 16, 32, and 64GB sizes, and it’s got the expected connectivity: very little

Apple iPad 3G service plans on AT&T, $30 for unlimited data
In a direct blow to everyone else with a netbook and an unlimited data plan, AT&T has scored a deal to offer unlimited 3G data on 3G-capable versions of the iPad for $29.99 a month (then again, this is the same as an iPhone plan, and you’re getting iPhone-level capability here). A 250MB plan, meanwhile, will be available for half that at $14.99 a month. Activation can happen right on the device — no store visits or calls are necessary — and there’s no contract involved. The device is fully unlocked, so if you absolutely want to, you’re welcome to take it to any other GSM carrier of your choice (assuming you can find a SIM that works — Apple’s talking up a new “micro SIM” for it).

The Apple iPad – Apple’s Tablet Gets Official
Apple [AAPL] has finally announced the Apple Tablet, and it is called the Apple iPad, and it designed to be a device between an iPhone and Laptop. The Apple iPad is designed to be used for email, web browsing, photos, video, music, games and eBooks, and as you can see from the photos it looks like a larger version of the iPhone. The Apple iPad features a built in accelerometer just like the iPhone so you can use it in portait and landscape mode, and it also features an on screen keyboard just like the iPhone that you can use to type emails and browse the web. The iPad’s OS is from the iPhone, and it features the iTunes store built in just like the iPhone, and you can watch YouTube videos in HD, and also TV shows and movies from iTunes. It also features a built in maps application, which is probably Google Maps, so that means it has built in GPS.
