LG AX155 Cell Phone Review–So Very Very Basic
Remember how yesterday I was saying that sometimes a cell phone will look like crap and then surprise you? Sometimes, of course, the converse is true–a phone can look like crap and actually BE crap. That’s where the LG AX155 fits in, at least on a relative scale. The LG AX155 is a folder-style flip phone that offers speakerphone, voice dialing, calendar, notepad, world clock, calculator, unit converter, music playing, a variety of messengers including text and picture, an HTML web browser, a phone book with capacity for three hundred names and numbers, a variety of downloadable programs and a selection of Alltel specific features like Alltel Search and Alltel TV on Demand. You can see from that unusually short spec sheet that there’s not a whole lot of anything going on in here. The lack of Bluetooth capability, digital camera or even FM radio is something of a disturbing lack of features–I had thought these were pretty much standard on every phone until I saw this one from Alltel.

Surprise! The HTC Legend preps for landing on AT&T by way of the FCC
The Legends are coming! The Legends are coming! I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for the HTC Legend. Sure, it’s not the most powerful piece of kit in HTC’s armory – but it’s made of friggin’ metal. You could give this phone to a bear for a few hours and have it come back mostly functioning. Can you imagine a world where bears have cell phones of their very own

Review: WirelessGround Phone Protector Case
I am always looking for a better phone protector. Something that is stylish and made of a solid material. Also it must have access to all of the buttons and ports and holes that are all over the sides of our devices. Above all else, it must be able to pass a rigorous usage test when it is installed on my wife’s phone. Recently I was privileged enough to be given a Blackberry Pearl Series Protector Case from WirelessGround to review. One of the biggest problems I have with plastic cell phone covers is that most of them don’t use completely dyed plastic but just color the top. This one is no exception which means that the purple argyle will eventually just get scratched off, they also didn’t do the best of jobs matching the pieces together to continue the pattern in a fluid way. These are the only complaints I have but they are found across the mobile case board so you can’t totally fault them for it. What I have found a nice touch is the removable belt clip that leaves four small holes in the back of the cover. It comes with the belt clip and screws to mount it to the cover. Why I like this better than most that I have used is because most of them have bulky pieces that make slipping it in your pocket a nightmare. Not the putting it in the pocket actually, but taking it out can be the real pain. The other thing that I must say is a plus is the solid fit that in has on the phone. I obviously can’t say that this would hold true for all the covers they sell, but this one fits like a glove. There is great access to all of the buttons and ports and the charger fits firmly without the cover becoming an obstacle. WirelessGround has a ton of designs for a slew of mobile devices and as for this one I can say that even a room full of second graders give it rave reviews for design quality. You can check out the many products at WirelessGround for yourself and let us know what you think
