Tips to open a locked memory card

Maybe someday you will need to restart your phone, like when finished updating the firmware, freezing occurs when the cell phone, or when cleaning the virus. But sometimes when they want to re-use the memory card has been locked by a password! How do solve this problem? Tip 1 – By using Fexplorer , find files in a folder named unlockMMC.app z:systemapp – Run the application file, and enter a new password like “12345″ By using the default features of the phone memory, go to your memory card – Enter the password that you’ve created on demand. – If this does not work or unlockMMC file not found, please use the following way Tip 2 Every time you give a password on the memory card, the phone automatically creates a file that will store your password with mmcstore name (same as the S60 1st and 2nd edition). Please use a third party file explorer application or use explorer mobile phone standard, first by enabling the feature to view hidden files The next step: – Copy mmcstore file to a computer, then change the file extension to .txt (mmcstore.txt) – Open it using notepad application

Why Windows Phone 7 won’t have copy and paste at launch

Apple ( NSDQ: AAPL ) was widely criticized for not having copy and paste in the iPhone until the third major version of the software, so it was kind of surprising that Microsoft ( NSDQ: MSFT ) won’t include this seemingly-basic feature in the upcoming Windows Phone 7 . The software giant said it wanted to focus on other features first but this should be coming in future iterations. The company insists that the out-of-the-box experience will be good enough where users won’t miss copy and paste.

Security breach allows hackers to obtain info on 114,000 AT&T iPad owners

Um, wow . Gawker revealed today that a  group of hackers from Goatse Security (no joke) were recently able to breach AT&T’s servers and obtain confidential user info on a significant amount of AT&T’s iPad 3G users. AT&T eventually patched up the hole in its system after being informed of its existance by Goatse Security, but that was after the confidential information such as email addresses of an estimated 114,067 iPad 3G users — including top level government officials, high-ranking military officers, and Fortune 500 CEOs — were exposed. Here’s how the data was obtained. When provided with an ICC-ID as part of an HTTP request, the script would return the associated email address, in what was apparently intended to be an AJAX-style response within a Web application.

Apple bans competing ads from the iPhone

Apple has tweaked its developer terms and conditions to explicitly lock out in-application advertising services that might compete with its own iAd service. The new terms, picked up by All Things Digital, spell out the rules. Applications may not collect statistical information for advertising, or any other reason, without Apple’s written permission – and you can be clear that Google, Microsoft and/or Opera need not apply. Even if the user’s consent is obtained Apple won’t allow the collection of any demographic information for feeding to analytical services such as Flurry, or any purpose that isn’t “directly relevant to the use of the Application”. When it comes to advertising, some information can be gathered with the user’s permission, but only if the company doing the gathering is “an independent advertising service provider whose primary business is serving mobile ads” – our emphasis.

AT&T, Apple breach exposes 114,000 iPad owners [Update]

Roughly 114,000 early adopters of the iPad 3G may have had their e-mails exposed thanks to a security breach of AT&T ( NYSE: T )’s servers, according to a report. The report said Goatse Security was able to obtain the e-mail addresses and AT&T associated ID of multiple iPad users via a script on AT&T’s website. The data includes information from high-profile early adopters like White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. The vulnerability has been reported to AT&T and has been fixed but there’s a chance every iPad 3G owner who has used AT&T’s mobile data has been exposed. Apple ( NSDQ: AAPL ) and AT&T has not publicly commented as of press time.
