Video: HD Video Sample of Nokia N8 real Digital Zoom (user Proto N8)
Here’s another sample of the N8 video ( taken from Amhed360′S post before it was removed ) It’s not by Nokia, it’s from a user. The other one I’ve seen (N8 on a plane ) that no one else managed to see matched the quality of Nokia’s official video sample.

ViewRanger now good for iPhone and Android
We’ve talked about ViewRanger here before and now see it has finally made it to both iPhone and Android platforms. It can’t be too long before we see it on iPad. If you haven’t heard ViewRanger before it’s an off-road topographic map navigation that can also be used as a sports GPS, buddy beacon tracking, etc. It’s been getting some decent reviews and now that they’ve covered almost all platforms they’re sure to gain more traction in topographic maps app category.

Android Sees The Light In SD App Storage
It seems that Android Is hearing the people and finally going to allow apps to be installed to the SD card. While other companies are “upgrading” to the idea of not needing a removable storage,(cough, cough, Microsoft) Android is falling back to what people want. And that is more storage. Any way that we can get it. If you won’t include a ton of it then why not let me add a ton of it? SD ran apps coming soon to Android without rooting your phone. Does the average user even care? What do you think

Not exactly what Apple intended the iPad to be used for – WARNING! NSFW
I don’t know who Ryan Kelly is, but apparently she’s French, hot, naked, and owns an iPad. This clip is EXTREMELY not safe for work, and I hesitated (briefly) in posting it, but I just got back from the MOMA in New York where there was some super lame video installation with real, live

Is AppleCare worth it?
When you’re plopping down a handful of Benjamins for a new phone, the last thing you want to do is incur any more expenses – even worse is the thought of spending more money on a warranty. And why should you? After all, a $300-or-more device should function properly, right? In a perfect world, yes. But here on planet earth, you-know-what happens. Electronics, from time to time, break down and need to be repaired. Luckily for us Apple fans, their products come with one year of technical coverage and 90 days of phone support. For iPhone owners, you can extend both two two full years for $69. But is it worth it? The JAiB team provided their thoughts on how well their phones have held up and on Apple’s warranty program. AT&T Pre Plus dummies start to hit stores
Don’t ask me what AT&T is waiting for with the release of its version of the Palm Pre Plus (could be Godot). Nevertheless, Engadget just got reports that Pre Plus dummies like the one pictured below are starting to show up in AT&T’s stores: Not much to add here… P.S. AT&T is the only carrier who sells HP’s probably last Windows Mobile device, the iPaq Glisten. Anyone note anything strange (:-))?

Talking Touch Dialer
Guys if you are driving, please do not “text”. And please, do not try to make a call unless you have it in your speed deal, looking in your contacts will distract you and eventually you may have an accident. But here is a solution, Talking Touch Dialer allows you to navigate in your contacts with very little distraction because it reads the contacts for you, once you find the one that you are looking for, with just a gesture it dials it for you. You can watch a demo here , it’s in Spanish but I can tell you, the program speaks in English better than me!
