Brush Up On Olympic History With Historic Olympic Medal Table
If you have a friend that keeps track of Olympic statistics, or maybe that’s you, the Historic Olympic Medal app will give you all the information you need! Historic Olympic Medal Table by Henri Hansen With the Vancouver 2010 Olympics coming up soon, this is a great app to refresh your Olympic history! Historic Olympic Medal Table gives users easy access to all of the medals won from all of the previous Olympic Winter Games. The app is great for those who love keeping track of stats and gives users the ability to quickly pull up historic records and make current comparisons. To give you an idea of the scope of the app, users have access to the more than 2000 medals (with times or points) attributed all the way back to the Olympic Winter Games of 1924! The app then includes each Winter Games from 1924 until the recent 2006 games. The app does a fantastic job of layout and allows users easy access to medals, events, athletes, and brief facts about the various hosting cities. Medal archives can be browsed by editions of Olympic Games or by winning nations with a list of sports categories and medals.

Cricket-bound Cal-Comp A150 found at the FCC
Cricket will be adding a new low-end clamshell to its portfolio in the near future — or at least this Cal-Comp made phone (A150) found at the FCC suggests so. It’s a basic tri-band CDMA (850/1700/1900 MHz) device, which we guess comes with Bluetooth connectivity support and probably a microSD memory card slot. In other words, it’s one of those phones for folks who need it for basic talking and messaging. Accordingly, it is expected to be as cheap as $50 without any contract signed… [Via: PhoneScoop ] Related News from IntoMobile: Samsung C3310 is a low-end slider for emerging markets Samsung a777 now available on AT&T for 80 bucks Low-end LG GB210 candybar announced in Ukraine Sprint all official with Samsung ACE, M520 Motorola Vegas VE20 for Sprint spotted on FCC Share this:

Juniper Research: Mobile cloud application revenues to hit $9.5 billion by 2014
Juniper Research is out with the latest report on mobile cloud computing. The company forecasts that the annual revenues from cloud-based mobile applications will reach nearly $9.5 billion by 2014. Unsurprisingly, Juniper found that the enterprise applications will account for the majority of revenues over the next five years. This, however, doesn’t mean consumer services will fail

China says Android can stay, misses Google’s point
A Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology spokesperson has today delivered a statement affirming China’s willingness to allow Android devices to operate within the country without restriction so long as they adhere to the nation’s laws. This means that whatever China’s response to Google no longer obeying its censorship edicts may be, it won’t be to disallow Android — which kind of makes sense considering the growing roster of OPhones out there, all running a remixed version of the dessert-loving mobile OS. Then again, Google’s latest power play was to hold back Android handsets from entering China, so we’re not entirely sure how much the Mountain View outfit cares about the Middle Kingdom’s apparent benevolence. China says Android can stay, misses Google’s point originally appeared on Engadget on Thu, 28 Jan 2010 03:15:00 EST. Please see our terms for use of feeds .

Nintendo Q3 Report: 23% Profit Loss
Thanks to slumping DS sales (only took five years!), and Wii price cuts, Nintendo posted Q3 profit losses of 23 per cent ($US192 million, down from $US249 million a year ago). It the first time in four years they’ve posted an annual profit loss. Looks like its time for Nintendo to respond to the iPhone/iPod touch boom, and encourage other Wii games besides “My Extreme Carnival Games 15″. [ Reuters ]
