Google provides tool for Mac users to upload email to Google Apps

For some, there is quite a bit of anxiety involved in switching from one email system to another. What will become of all your old emails from family/friends, your precious email attachments containing hundreds of hours of video featuring LOLCats, or the 400 copies of that one chain letter your partially senile grandfather forwards you every two weeks? Well, it looks like if you’re a Mac user ready to jump over to Google Apps, there is no need to panic, because the Big G is looking to alleviate this anxiety for you. Recently, Google released a migration tool that will allow users of Apple Mail, Thunderbird, or Eudora to upload all their email to Google Apps and seamlessly make the switch

Voice Mark Lets You Audio Tag and Go

Voice Mark — If you and your iPhone 3G or 3GS get around a lot, you may find it’s sometimes hard to remember your impressions about each place you’ve visited. GeoGraffiti’s Voice Mark provides you with the ability create audio geotags of each location that interests you as well as listen to the audio geotags created by other users of this app. For example, if you visit Joe’s Pub & Grille in El Dorito City, Michigan, and you think it’s a place other people might want to visit, you can create an audio message describing your visit there and share it through Twitter and other popular social net sites. If you’re traveling and want to know a bit about some of the local sights, you can listen to the Voice Marks left by other app users

Amazon pulls Macmillan books as the e-book price war begins

Even before it has landed in the hands of consumers, Apple’s iPad is already living up to its reputation as a “revolutionary” device. The first battle, in what may become a full out war, has begun in the lucrative book market with Amazon pulling all of Macmillan books from its digital inventory. Rumor has it that the two companies are bickering over pricing with Macmillan (and other publishers) reportedly pushing Amazon for the same $15 price point being offered by Apple. Amazon has refused to negotiate and is staunchly sticking to its $9.99 pricing, a price point to which publishers begrudgingly agreed due to the popularity of the Kindle. Now that there will be soon be a new game in town, the Kindle is losing a bit of its luster, and Amazon loses some of its leverage and the whole e-book market gets turned upside down

In the spirit of the Game Show Network (GSN) hit show Catch-21 , now in its third season, Catch-21 for iPhone and iPod Touch is blackjack mayhem in a race against the clock for high scores. Unlike the television game show, Catch-21 for iPhone leaves out cumbersome trivia questions and opponents and pits players against the clock to make as many 21s as possible. Who Needs More USB Ports?

I sometimes do, especially when I am using my trusty old MSI Wind. It has three USB ports, but there are times (not very often) when I find myself wishing I had an extra port or two. Never – not even in my frustrated moments – have I found myself needing or wanting 80 USB ports, though! I don’t think that I know anyone – not even the geekiest and most gadget crazy person I know – who would need 80 USB ports at a single time, do you? I guess the people at Thanko might have bought one gadget too many. They’re the ones promoting this board with 80 USB ports, and they seem really excited about it

Fashion at Your Doorsteps!

For a completely fashionable person, if you ask their success story, they say they match their jewelry with their handbags. Yes! Matching your jewels and your handbag is really a tough job. For celebs it is a real challenge. We all know a person who walks in street with a mismatched handbag is given a mismatched crook tag and she is busted out. Having a bag and displaying it the same in various occasions makes you a victim of fashion faux pas.
